Product Marketing Manager

Job description

Here at Survicate, we’re looking for a hands-on Product Marketing Manager (PMM) with a strong background in SaaS products and international marketing. The PMM plays a critical role, responsible for taking technical information from the Product Team and transforming it into Marketing strategies that attract new customers or monetize further the existing users. Once the tactics have been defined, the PMM can execute on their own or through other teams. Finally, the PMM reviews, measures, and adjusts the product marketing strategy based on the product strategy and results.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a product marketing manager (or related) role,
  • Familiar with product marketing tactics (integrated marketing campaigns, SEO, digital advertising and social media marketing),
  • Experience in a market-facing role (e.g. delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis and market research),
  • A strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups,
  • Excellent written and spoken English (native or C2),
  • Great copywriting and storytelling skills,
  • Capable of writing articles, blog posts, knowledge bases posts and newsletters,
  • Experience in running webinars, podcasts or video recordings,
  • Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple teams,
  • Familiarity with survey and customer feedback software similar to Survicate,
  • Proficient in using Hubspot Marketing or a similar marketing automation platform.

Responsibilities of the PMM:

  • Know and focus a specific target customer persona, which can be ‘product teams’ OR ‘customer success and support teams',
  • Research the market and segment target customers,
  • Define products, packaging, and addons,
  • Define and constantly improve product positioning,
  • Optimize the pricing strategy to support the company objectives,
  • Define Messaging and secure ‘product and message market fit’,
  • Understand the competitive landscape and be the source of information about and against our competition,
  • Drive demand and adoption of the product,
  • Use storytelling to effectively deliver messages,
  • Define and execute product releases and launches,
  • Interact with prospects and customers to understand the market very well,
  • Identify acquisition channels best fit for the product or feature,
  • Identify activation, upsell and cross-sells paths,
  • Define the product marketing strategy, present it and be able to defend it,
  • Evangelize the product outside the organization through videos, webinars, podcasts, guest posts, events, and other communication opportunities,
  • Work on co-marketing actions with relevant partners like Intercom, Hubspot or FullStory,
  • Enable the sales team through relevant enablement actions,
  • Initiate and oversee sales and support processes improvements, including demos, conversations, etc. You must be able to do a ‘not so bad’ product demo.
